NOMAN: get your run on!

8km 35:12 (NOMAN Ibiza-Barcelona, run session 1)

*26 days until the race*

I haven’t run since hurling myself through the Ox Ultra on May 26th! It felt so good to get out and run having spent the past 23 days in the pool or on a rowing machine – the weather over the past few days has been perfect training for run training and I was loathe to miss another chance after work today!

I will definitely be putting in a few more runs before the NOMAN race as I’m still set to run Grim Reaper 70 the weekend after I get back from Barcelona! Originally this was going to be my A-Race but it has obviously been usurped by the ocean rowing dream. Plans have changed a lot for later in the year because of the row but I honestly think diversifying my endurance portfolio will make me a better ultra runner without a doubt.

I’m away now dear reader to chill out with Gabby, drink a beer or two and to make a lovely salad and tuna steaks for dinner!

Peace & Blessings
