I had a whole load of fun at Wren’s Nest National Nature Reserve after taking some time to travel up to the West Midlands to pay a surprise visit to my Nan and my Ma.

I found an unexpected technical trail paradise in the midst of the industrial town of Dudley where my Nan lives! The site of an old limestone quarry – lots of steps, roots, rocks, some scree, some scrambling. I was so surprised to find it that I smiled the whole time I was out and when I got back to my Nan’s afterwards I couldn’t speak highly enough of the place.

I can’t say much fairer than that really so if you ever find yourself in or near Dudley and have some time to go for a run I highly recommend getting over the the Wren’s Nest.

Peace & Blessings x
