Today I have still been fighting with tiredness but I made my mind up on the way to my Early shift that I would at the very least do a 1 set strength and conditioning workout once I got home regardless of how tired I might be feeling. I kept my promise to myself and did just that, having just finished up moments ago!
Fortunately I’m in no real rush to pack it up and get out to the pool as I made another promise to myself whilst fighting the sleep monster this afternoon – I decided that because I’m on a Late shift tomorrow I would go to the pool before work and swim hard! So, that is exactly what I’m going to do. I’ll see how I’m feeling in the morning once I’ve warmed up a little but I hope to complete an 80 lap/2km as Saturday is a planned rest day.
I’m actually too tired to put my brain into gear and write anymore than that today I’m afraid! So, for this evening, I bid y’all adieu!
