My first real cardio workout since my run on January 1st. Granted, it was a pool session but man did it make me feel alive again! I’m beginning to kick this cold in to touch and my feet are healing up quite nicely so I hope to be running a little by Friday or Saturday next week.
I’m sad that I’m going to miss Country to City this Saturday but on the other hand I’m glad because I’ve made the right decision to withdraw for my long term mental and physical well being.
Looking forward to having the weekend off work and swimming Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Also, my muscles have had enough rest so it’s back to core and weights training too.
Onwards, upwards, ever forwards!
