Hello, hello dear readers!
My sincere apologies for not posting since Saturday when I had the privilege of being at Wembley Stadium to witness England getting knocked out of the Rugby League World Cup semi-final on the last play of the game, followed later by Australia battering Fiji with 11 tries to zero…
Marathon fatigue is beginning to set in. I’m tired of running, I’m tired of writing about running and I’m also getting tired of being tired all the time! That’s not to say I haven’t been running, no, because I have. Just not very fast and not very far. My last run (before today’s 1o.84km effort) was a ten miler last Friday and since then I have just been swamped with work, studying, getting very much involved in sorting out my career move and seeing a certain somebody a fair bit! I’m not complaining at all – work pays the bills and allows me to be financially free enough to do things like travel to Pisa to run a marathon, studying helps me to pave the way into my career move and seeing a certain someone takes the edge of the stress and tiredness of everything else!
Anyway, I will revert back to my usual post structure on the ‘morrow most likely. I will back date from Sunday 24th up until the present day and will then endeavour to keep it that way until I cross the line at the Pisa Marathon on December 16th…after that, we’ll see what form the blog takes!
Peace & Blessings
